The rest of the photos.

FINALLY.  Sheesh.  Don't worry.  We'll be getting back to normal craftdom ASAP.  Also, Yummy Monday was cancelled this week due to me making food for my whole family yesterday.  My parents let me off the hook.  So these pictures are taking the place of a menu this week.  Don't worry, though.  I have a recipe to share with you a little later, too, so we won't be devoid of all food.

Well, after playing by the water, we went over to the little playground.

mini was overly cautious about the slide, but bug was super excited.

she preferred the swings.

And bug had the time of his life.

Then we headed to Eagle Tower.  I should know the history of this tower, considering the amount of times I've walked by the sign.  I believe it was a place to watch for wildfires and storms and such?  Maybe?  Believe it or not, this is a picture of mini and mr.  Can't see them?

How about now?  They are 76 ft. from the ground.

Oh!  There they are!

By the time I was done playing around with the camera and was heading up the tower, everyone else was on their way down!  Is it weird that I thought this graffiti was funny?

And now I'm just getting all artsy...

Couldn't resist a look out over the bay.  The trees and islands look so much smaller from the top of the tower... but this view from mid-way was great too.

I hadn't realized how much mini liked steps.

These steps are 97 years old.  Well, actually, I think they were rebuilt once... so probably not original.  But still old, regardless.

She climbed up on this ledge and smiled at me as if she was posing for my camera... then turned when I snapped... such a tease.

On the way back to our car, we stopped at a bench so bug could talk with Jerry for a while.  He even told him a few secrets he couldn't share with me.

How do you know it was a fun-filled and successful day?  When this little stinker falls asleep in your arms.

Now THAT'S a grandma's love for you.  I would have made her walk.

Awww, I love that last picture with Grandma. Actually, I love them all, esp the one going downstairs, and the water, and the tower, and your son "talking" to the "men", and I think you get the picture. (pun intended)
