Steph, from Crafting in the Rain is a super creative cat and a genuinely NICE person. I've been loving her ideas ever since her duct tape covered boots! Check out her cute idea!
Hey everybody. I'm Steph, visiting from Crafting in the Rain and I'm happy to be visiting Kimberly's blog with a gift idea for moms of kids going back to school. There are lots of ideas around to surprise your kids on their first day, or give to their new teachers, and this is a little twist on that. Maybe you know someone who's sending off their first Kindergartner this year, or their last is starting high school.
I bought this fantastic backpack svg file from Creative Cuts for just 99c and used it to create these adorable backpack boxes. I mean, check out the little paper buckles! I didn't include a step-by-step but the instructions that come with the file are very complete.
I filled the boxes with the following items (though of course you could put anything at all in it.)
1--Tissue pack
2--Small baggie of paper clips
3--Ghirardelli squares
4--Small Post It notes
5--Washi tape covered pen
6--Jamba Juice gift card
What do you think? Who would you give one to?
What an adorable idea! Love the cute little packaging. What mom (teacher/teenager/student) wouldn't love this?? Perfect for celebrating the first day back to school - for mom or child! Thanks, Steph!
