Lace Knit Baby Bonnet with Melissa from Melly Sews

Why, why, why can't I knit??  Oh, right.  I find the abbreviations confusing, the patterns indiscernible, and the two sticks overkill.
BUT.  Our first guest for this series, Melissa from Melly Sews, has shown me just how badly I want to know how.  And how badly I need someone's baby girl to make this project for!

Melissa is sharing this gorgeous Lace Knit Baby Bonnet for todays tutorial.  It's a pattern she created by herself (so not only did she knit something, she made it up!) and the execution couldn't be more charming.  See it in action on her adorable niece:

It's my heartfelt opinion that every baby girl needs a bonnet exactly like this.

Thank you for sharing today Melissa!

i can't knit either...i've tried and failed a few times. I blame it on being left handed, but I like your excuses too. This bonnet is just stunning!
