A few button-embellished felt stars for bug’s vintage hat (a la St. Vinny’s),
a ruffled flower barrette for mini’s hair (aka headband)
and some rolled roses for me
meant that we headed off to the Independence Day celebration in style! Feeling patriotic.
bug rode his first carnival rides and cried and coward during the explosions. mini cried and screamed during the carnival and stared in awe and smiled during the fireworks. You can’t please everyone.
After carnivals, family time, playing, and fireworks, we headed home with some very sleepyheads.
