You're kind of a big deal

Last Saturday I introduced my brand spanking new idea of featuring those of you who have made some of my stuff.  Feature people who use my tutorials??? Novel, I know.


Continuing on in that vein, today I'd like to give a shout out to Plain Jane Boutique.  Looooooong ago, I got a comment from her letting me know she'd used my Toddler Watch tutorial: 

to make several of her own watches.  (These are otherwise known as Paleoliths.)  (Please tell me you understand that joke.)  (I may just be the nerdiest crafter out there.)

You're kind of a big deal - #1

I've been meaning to do a post like this since 2011 started.  I'm only a few months late, and if you read this blog at all, you know that's pretty good for me.


So, because I think you all are so great, and I've gotten a bit of feedback from some of you who have tried my projects of one kind or another, I want to start some feature posts!

YOU'RE kind of a big deal, on bugaboo, mini, mr & me!

First, up, Christine, of So I Saw This Tutorial... made my Chicken and Black Bean Enchilada Casserole!  I don't have a picture of hers, but here's mine:

This is what Christine said:

"My husband is a tough man to please in the kitchen and he LOVED your casserole!  My PICKIEST child went back for SECONDS!  And my 5 year old and SLOWEST eater was done FIRST!  So yeah, I'll be making this A LOT more than I was allowed to make my old enchilada recipe! LOL."

We love this casserole, too.  It's easy and cheap and delicious!  A definite must try.

And again on the food front, LP, of A Crafty Southern Chick made my White Chicken Chili.

Here it is:

This is what LP had to say about the Chili:

"I finally made the chili tonight! Let me say--I am not a 'normal' chili fan and I do not eat beans. But I really liked this stuff!! It was yummy :)" 

She later emailed me again to let me know she's made it at least three more times!

Thanks for the feedback about my recipes, guys!  I love to see what you think.  I'd love it if you put up this featured button!
