Remember when I mentioned that I wrangled up a few of my favorites crafter/bloggers to help with my "Life's a Picnic!" summer series? Well, guess what. Today is our first guest! Put your hands together and welcome Robin - from The T-Shirt Diaries!
Hi! I am Robin from The T-Shirt Diaries. I try to get my craft on between running around with my two crazy kidlets, C1 and C2. I love Upcycling and run a weekly linky party called Upcycled Awesome evey Wednesday. You should check it out.
I am so honored to be participating in :
When I think of picnic's I immediately think of having a picnic on the beach! What do you need for a picnic on the beach? Well a GIANT beach bag of course.
I have two little ones (the illustrious C1 and C2) and they require a lot of beachy supplies. I mean, you need towels, swim diapers, changes of clothes, plastic bags, and sunscreen to name a few things. Your average everyday tote does not have enough room, so I decided to creat a giant oilcloth bag to tote around the goods.
You will need:
- Oilcloth - Mine was very uneven because I used it for another project about a year ago
- Sewing Machine
- Two Yards of Strap Material
- Scissors
- Ruler
So Let's get started:
That was easy!
Thank you so much, Kimberly for letting me stop by!
Thank YOU, Robin! What I love about this HUGE beach bag - aside from the fact that it's HUGE! - is that it's oilcloth!! You can just spray it on down when it gets sandy! It won't leak all over the inside if the outside gets wet! You can wipe it off when your sunblock explodes! What, doesn't yours do that??
I love Robin's upcycled projects and all of her great ideas - you have to check out her blog.
*Be sure to check just below for all the fun parties I link to!
