Hello! And welcome to another edition of:
Usually this is where I'd share a few of my favorite pins from the past week... because we all know I'm a pin addict. However, since my "to do's" for the pinteresting party this month were all Valentine's Day related, I thought I'd go ahead and share them NOW, since Valentine's Day is right around the corner. I'm trying to be timely, here, people. Unlike... well, unlike normal.
Let me show you around the bugaboo household these past few weeks, shall I?
First off. I pinned this idea, thinking that it was easy AND adorable and you can't beat that, right?

I already had bug's Valentine's for school all planned out, so I thought maybe I'd get to them next year. BUT, one cold day we had nothing to do. So I whipped out the scrapbook paper, markers and tape and we went to town.
And when we were finished, K, bug and mini had three sets each of stretched out hand Valentines.
We made the middle accordion part extra long because it made bug laugh.
Who will we be giving these to, you ask? You'll just have to wait and see if it's YOU.
Next up, the Valentines bug and I planned to do for his class. I know for a fact you've seen these guys floating around:

They're so super, they're everywhere! I pinned these in early January, knowing full well they were perfect for the 3K class.
I wanted to print them out on patterned scrapbook paper, so I didn't use the template from the original source, since hers were in color. (Please ignore my ghetto hole punches)
I just made my own template for the capes and masks using pages. Here are my blank capes, in case anyone wants to go that route. (right click to download, you should be able to resize)
I had bug write his own name on all of them and we tried to have him write his friend's names, too, but gave up on that plan.
I'm in love with them. Especially this one.
And finally, another idea you've seen all over, the pencil Valentine.
I figured bug's teachers might not appreciate tootsie pops as much as the kids, and pencils seemed perfect, right? Plus I got a bunch of super cute Valentine pencils in the dollar section at Target. I kind of wanted to keep them, they're so cute.
So I designed these little tags that say, "Teacher, You're al"WRITE"!" You have to say it with the right inflection though, or it seems like an insult. Think Tony the Tiger, but saying "alright" instead of "grrrrreat". You know, "you're ALright!" (said with your voice going up at the end) Not, "you're alRIGHT..." (said with your voice going DOWN at the end)
Anyway... we just tied the tags to the pencils with Valentine ribbon. bug has 5 teachers/aids at school.
And these are for bug and mini's teachers at church.
I think this tag is my favorite. Look at that smiley face heart!
Want some tags? Well, ok. Free for you to print! (the top versions say "Valentine" instead of teacher, in case you aren't giving them to teachers)
Phew. That's a lot of Pinspiration.
And THAT, my friends (among various other Valentine broo-ha-ha) is what's been happening around here lately.
Now, what about you?? I can't WAIT to see your pinteresting projects!
I ask only two things from you:
1. Link to the POST, not your main page. I want to be able to find your incredible projects.
