Our host!
It may be late. And I may be overtired. I may also be going on yet another week of mr.lessness. Sometimes I don't like China much... usually only those times when he's there and not here. Which seems to be frequent.
But enough about China, tell me about you. How do you like China?
To kick off our very pinteresting series, I've got a little printable for you.
And that, my friends, comes from personal experience. On to the top notch items of inspiration for our first week.
Oh there are so many I could pop on up here... I fell in love and increased my number of pins by about 100 I think. In any case, I'll stick to five. It seems like a nice, odd number. Not to many, but still a respectable amount. I'm also trying to show you a variety of different types of ideas - to appeal to those of us who maybe can't sew, for instance.
Ahem.
Hot chocolate. I didn't know you could get any better. (Don't be deceived. It's actually a very interesting take on hot chocolate. And not at all what you'd expect.)
I dabble in photography. This man? Oh, to be brilliant like Laurent Lavader. He also has a ton of other amazing moon photographs that you can find in his Nuit Gallery on his site. Or you could just tour the whole site - since it's amazing. Of course, I can't understand a word of it since it's in French. I think.
I didn't realize I'd be such a pinner of quotes... but I seem to find more I like every day. E.E. Cummings is just awesome to begin with, but this quote struck me as I just recently delved deep into a 1/8 life crisis. Or something. Not mid life, that's all I know.
You all must have seen this amazing toddler comforter over on Me Sew Crazy, right? It's from Two Little Hooligan's and is part of the "New Year's ReSewLution" series going on now. I'm pinning things like crazy from this series. Seriously. Did you see Googiemama's Pinwheel Dress? (I could devote an entire post just to pinning Googiemama's stuff... but I digress.) This comforter almost makes me want to redo mini's room. Almost.
I think this may have been my favorite find this week on pinterest. You can turn your child's artwork into a comforter! How adorable is that? Am I right, or am I right? Rest assured that when bug's artwork becomes more... artwork like and less scribbly, I will be doing this. Although his might be less creative and more like, "Here's a car crashing into a fence... here's a truck crashing into a fence... here's a car crashing into a wooden fence... here's a car that ran over a chicken and THEN crashed into a fence..." which may not provide enough variety to be this visually stimulating.
Oh, Pinterest. It's safe to say I'm bordering on obsession. No. No bordering... teetering on the edge. No... most of my body has crossed the line, but I'm keeping a tiny little pinky grasping the edge just so I don't seem completely crazy...
